 THE SCHOOL It was founded on the 19th of September, 1995, to develop children into contributing citizens of tomorrow. It grew out of the erstwhile Assembly of God Church School(1985-1995). This is a Co-Ed English Medium School, co-educational institution run by the Calcutta Christian Schools Society,in building provided by Coal India Limited, Danuni, with presiding Bishop of the Bengal Regional Conference, The Methodist Church in India, as the Chairman of its management.
 
 
 AIMS The school aims at an all-round education along with Christian principles towards excellence, helping boys and girls to become contributing individuals to the nation. Every student is expected to participate in school service through the School's Social Service Club, where they must contribute selflessly and through the Interact Club of the school. It is compulsory for all students to speak in English during school hours and be fluent in it.
 
 
 
 ADMISSION PERIOD:October-November
 
 
 
 COURSES The academic year starts from April. This school enrolls children into the Lower Nursery class(age:3+). Thereafter, Upper Nursey(age:4+), then the Kindergarten level(age: 5+), classes progresses to ICSE level (Class X, age:16+) with different sections in each class. This school is permanently affiliated to the Council at Delhi for I.C.S.E classes and for the I.S.C level(+2).The school provides education in classes XI & XII in three streams of Science, Humanities(Arts) and Commerce. Besides English, Bengali, Hindi and Lushai are also taught as Second Languages. Bible Studies and Value Education are also an integral part of school education. It is an Eco-Friendly school.
 
 
 
 ATTENDENCE A minimum of 75% attendence over the year is mandatory, failing which the child may have to repeat the class. Children of classes IX to XII must have to acquaint themselves with the Council Rules in this regard.
 
 
 
 TIMING Lower Nursery to Class III : Morning Section(08:00 to 10:50) Class IV to class XII : Day Section(10:40 to 16:30) Office-09:00 to 16:00(closed for lunch 13:00 tp 14:00)
 
 
 
 INFRASTRUCTURE The School Complex is over two acres of land area. It belongs to the Dankuni Coal Complex, South Eastern Coalfields Limited under Coal India Limited, Ministry of Coal (Govt. of India). The school can boast of its wide infrastructural facilities including spacious, airy and well-lit classrooms, Well-equipped rich library, large green playground, enclosed lawn as play area for pre-primary children, shed for morning assembly, garden, water purifier and cooler, hi-tech,well furnished, air-conditioned computer laboratory, well-equiped Science laboratory(Physics, Chemistry & Biology), canteen for students and teachers. There is also a large mordernized Chapel present on the 2nd floor and a ramp from ground floor to first floor.
 
 
 
  HOUSE SYSTEM We have Four Houses & Colours i.e - (1) Chitambar House is Yellow (2) Bhaba House is Blue (3) Wesley House is Green (4) Tagore House is Red
 
 
 
 
 
 OFFICE In every progressive organisation the office plays a very vital role. Keeping this in mind, we have made our office function in a very modernised and systematic way, by introducing single window system and air-conditioning facilties, in order to cater to the demands of the present-day guardians and students very efficiently. The office is well furnished and all the office staff are provided with one computer each. The accounts and students’ information are totally computerised.
 
 
 
 CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES School Magazine, Tournaments for Football, Cricket, Kabaddi etc. Competitions for Quiz, Elocution, Debate, Music, Drama, etc. Club Activities for students from classes IV to IX Dance, Music, Cookery, Ecology, Drama, Social-Service, Quiz, Public Speaking, etc. and Yoga classes.
